As part of my CalArts Graphic Design studies, I created a poster that reimagines the classic Bodoni typeface on handmade Nepali Lokta paper, blending historical elegance with artisanal quality.

I tackled the challenge of reimagining the classic Bodoni typeface, aiming to address its need for a fresh, artisanal touch. The goal was to blend Bodoni’s historical sophistication with the rich texture of handmade Nepali Lokta paper.

I researched the Bodoni typeface and sourced handmade Nepali Lokta paper, designing a poster that harmonizes Bodoni’s sleek lines with the paper’s organic texture. The result is a striking blend of modern typography and traditional craftsmanship, showcased through various presentations and a detailed moodboard.
